The St Aidan’s Op Shop will close for the year on Saturday 10th December 2016 at 12.30pm and reopen on Thursday 2nd February 2017 at 9.00am.
The Op Shop is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 9am to 12:30pm. Most items are half price until the end of the year. The Op Shop will close for the year on Saturday 10th December. The volunteer staff will then take a well deserved break until reopening in the new year.
The op shop will be open every Friday morning 9am to 12.30pm from the 23rd September. Come along and browse for a bargain.
Thank you to everyone at St Aidan’s who has knitted, sewn and/or donated soap/wool/flannelette sheets for the project.
Thank you also to the many people outside the parish who have been helping. Well done to all of you!
We are gathering a good amount of items for the clinic, but it has been decided that no more soap will be collected due to the weight of it and we still have to decide how everything will be transported to Kenya. However, donations of maternity pads and flannelette sheets would still be very helpful.
Earlier this year, Clementine reported that one of the aims for the clinic – having a mobile clinic – had been achieved and was well attended.
At the end of October we will have the final collection of goods for the clinic. Thanks again for your support.
The St Aidan’s Op Shop will close for the year on Thursday 10th December 2015 at 12.30pm and reopen on Thursday 4th February 2016 at 9.00am.
There will be a series of meditations for Advent in the church on Friday mornings 4th December, 11th December and 18th December from 11am to 12 noon. Please join us for quiet reflection and Christian meditation.
